We got tired of AI listicles.
One100s is built by two friends— not a content farm, not a venture-backed unicorn, not an LLM that has never tasted coffee or driven a car. We’re building the internet’s most useful top-100 lists, ranked by the only thing that can actually rank them: humans who’ve used the thing.
AI can write 100 list items in 8 seconds. None of them have ever actually used the thing. We think a list ranked by 200 real humans who care beats one “optimized” by 200 LLMs — every time.
The story
We started One100s because we were sick of searching for “best X” and getting eight tabs of identical, AI-paraphrased listicles. Same products. Same wording. Same affiliate links. None of the writers had ever held the thing, eaten the thing, driven the thing, or worn the thing.
We tried everything— Reddit threads, niche forums, YouTube comments, group chats — looking for the lists that actually existed inside people’s heads. The good answers were there. They were just buried under content written for search engines, not for humans.
So one weekend, two of us sat down and asked a stupid question: what if the rankings just lived on the internet, voted by the people who already had opinions? No middleman content farm. No AI rewriting. No SEO-bait listicle that exists only to harvest a click.
That weekend turned into One100s. Here we are.
What we believe
- Real beats simulated. An LLM can describe coffee. It can’t taste coffee. We trust the people who actually have the cup.
- Quality is a feature. We say no to a lot of submissions. That’s how the lists stay worth reading.
- Time and taste deserve compensation. If you write a great submission or vote on hundreds of items, that’s real work. We pay real money for it.
- The internet should still be useful. Search results don’t have to be a wasteland. We can build the small, weird, opinionated corner of it that we wish existed.
How One100s actually works
Three loops, all powered by humans:
- Submissions.Anyone can suggest a new list or add an item to an existing one. Every single submission is reviewed by us before it goes live. We aren’t a queue — we’re an editor.
- Voting. Once a list is live, every signed-in member can move items up or down. Rankings shift in real time. The list at #3 today might be #1 tomorrow because 50 people decided.
- Earnings. Votes and approved submissions earn points. Points cash out to real money once you cross the payout threshold. We do this because the people doing the work should be the people getting paid — not a content farm scraping their opinions.
No bots. No paid voting. No AI listicles. We catch all three, and we’re strict about it. See the Terms for the ground rules.
What we're not
A short list of things you will never see us do:
- Generate list content with AI. Not the titles, not the descriptions, not the picks. Humans only.
- Pay for fake votes or reviews. The whole product breaks the moment we do.
- Track you across the web. No advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers. Read the Privacy Policy if you want the details.
- Hide basic features behind paywalls. Browsing, voting, and submitting are free and always will be.
- Ship listicles built for Google, not humans. If a list isn’t useful to a real person, it doesn’t belong here.
Made by two of us
We’re a two-friends team. We do everything between us — design, code, moderation, replying to your emails, breaking the build at 2 AM, fixing it at 2:15. We like it that way. It’s slower than scaling, but it keeps the lists honest.
Got an idea, a bug, a category we should add, or a polite rant about a list we got wrong? Email us at marketing@fepy.ae. We read every message. We don’t use a chatbot to reply.
Browse the lists. Vote. Submit. Earn. Or just lurk — that’s also fine.
